The 2017 Féile na nGael is taking place from the 16th-18th June & Kilkenny, Carlow & Wexford are hosting this year's event.
Piltown is delighted to be participating, both competitively & as a host club. The GAA club is hosting the Cork 2 Winners & the Camogie club is hosting the Clare A winners & we look forward to welcoming both teams to our parish & our homes.
The fixtures were recently published & all games kick off on the Friday afternoon. Our hurlers travel to Danesfort on the Friday for their first 2 group matches & their third group match is at home on the Saturday morning. Piltown camogie will play all their group matches at home on Friday evening & Saturday morning.
Then all roads lead to Wexford for the hurling & camogie quarterfinals on the Saturday afternoon & the semifinals & finals on Sunday!
We will soon begin our fundraising activities to support our young hurlers and camogie players & to look after our visiting teams & we will post updates as events etc are organised.
